Volvo India has introduced a whole new digitised system for the company in this ongoing Corona Virus pandemic. The Swedish Car maker, always known for path breaking safety innovations now has initiated a system to buy cars, after sales services by staying at home just by the tip of your fingers. A prospective buyer can also buy their car online through the interactive portal. This portal will have digitised finance offers, online documentation and a contactless delivery. Volvo calls it “Volvo Contactless Program.”
Charles Frump (MD, Volvo Car India) stated, “Volvo Cars is always known for safety technology in our cars and now we have raised the bar in safety by taking measures to disinfect our dealer’s facility and test drive cars. I am confident that the Indian economy will spring back to its pace very soon with the measures taken by authorities.”
The Process looks like the following:
You just have to follow simple steps given and own a Volvo. They have many contactless modes for interaction with the customers such as WhatsApp Call, Zoom, Skype, Google Duo, Facetime.
All the dealership outlets and manufacturing places in the country were closed due to lockdown . Volvo India launched it’s new campaign “SafestPlaceToBe” for safety and protection of it’s vehicles. Under this campaign company has partnered with 3M for the availability of PPE kits and sanitizers at its dealerships. All the company dealership facilities are currently being disinfected and the workforce at all facilities are being provided with PPE kits and sanitisers. Both dealerships and display cars would be disinfected using products supplied by 3M. The Company even plans to offer the 3M kits to the customers for the sanitization of the vehicles. The company also extended its warranty period until 31st May to minimize the inconvenience for its existing customers.
By this initiative the company would surely see some pump-up in the sales !
